Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bobsled, well presented and superb facilities within a spacious 2 bed apartment. Well placed for all slopes and restaurants in Morzine. Will be back.
Lovely apartment with beautiful views over Morzine and the Pleney slopes. Location is fantastic, only a few mins walk from Pleney lift and super Morzine lift. Very close to shops in centre of town.

Great spacious apartment in Morzine. Very well equipped kitchen. 5 min walk to the Super Morzine telecabine ,2 min walk to Carrefour, 5 mins to some good bars on Rue du Bourg and pretty much the whole of central Morzine is within reach. 10/10 would stay again.

“Very spacious, well equipped and very clean”…
We were two families with children between 5 and 9 looking for a self catering chalet in a family friendly resort. We have been Les Gets a few times and wanted to find accommodation an easy walk from town!.
Perrieres is exactly as it looks on the website, very spacious, well equipped and very clean. We had a fab holiday and having young kids spent many evenings eating in and enjoying the apartment. We also used Ski Lifts which were also fab for our transfers from Geneva Airport.
We hired our skis from Intersport and they stored our equipment over night so we did not have walk home in ski boots and carrying skis which made the walk more enjoyable, it is a 15 min walk into town with kids maybe a bit quicker without them!
Would highly recommend this apartment for families or even 4 couples as there is ample room and three bathrooms.
Mountain Xtra were very helpful when making our arrangements for a fun filled holiday.

Thank you so much for your wonderful apartment this last week. My family have had a fantastic time. It was perfect. We were able to give the 2 kids (22 months and 20 weeks) their own rooms, whilst also allowing my parents to be slightly apart from us so they got some sleep! The living room was a perfect area for the kids to play and us to relax/watch them. It was just brilliant. To be that close to the lift was also great. We were able to leave the kids with the Nanny, knowing that we could get back very quickly should the kids need us.
We have just completed a wonderful late summer/early autumn week in Chalet Cascades.
This is known as the off season but we have been delighted by the scale and varied opportunity to walk in this spectacular countryside, all helped by exceptional weather. The ski lifts may be closed, as are many shops and restaurants but a car soon gets you to your chosen venue and you often find that the country inns are open for good lunches. The local supermarket was always open at the times we wanted it as was the bakery.
The chalet is delightful having been kitted out to the highest standards making it comfortable to enjoy and relax after your magnificent and varied outdoor trips. The local maps help you plan your itinerary so it is easy to get to up to 1700m or more.

“Thank you for a fantastic stay. The apartment was perfect for us. It was brilliant being so close to the lift and being able to near enough ski back to the door! Would highly recommend.”

Apartment Colombette was an absolute treat. Well equipped kitchen, nicely laid out apartment with so many added extras.. Wood burning stove (with logs included), garage, boot/board store, washing machine, games, and DVD’s. Easy access to the free bus to get to the ski lifts on our boarding days. Great place would highly recommend it.

“Fabulous apartment close to the slopes”
Fabulous apartment close to the slopes. We celebrated New Year here and had a wonderful time. The apartment is excellently located close to slopes, ski hire and just a short walk to the town centre. We were grateful for the comfortable beds and luxurious towels and bedding after a hard day on the slopes. The apartment is beautifully furnished and had a well equipped kitchen for us to be and feel very comfortable.

Cannot fault our week-long stay in Bobsled
I’m not really one to leave reviews, but after the stay we had I had to!
We’ve been to Morzine a number of times now for our skiing holiday and have always stayed nearer to the Nyon lift in relatively budget accommodation, so this time we wanted to try our luck with a more modernised property closer to the centre of Morzine and Bobsled was perfect!
This apartment is exactly what it says on the tin, what you see in the pictures is exactly what you get when you arrive at Bobsled. We were over the moon with the high-spec finish and the added extras that made it feel more like home.
We arrived at Bobsled quite late in the evening and although we had a bit of nightmare with our transfer from Geneva Airport, Mountain Xtra organised our arrival perfectly so we were able to get in and unpacked straight away!
The bottle of red wine was a lovely added touch when we arrived and after a long day of travelling it was great to put our feet up and enjoy some classic British TV including Netflix! Upon our arrival, there was a handbook that gave us tons of information for bus routes, ski storage, ski lifts, emergency telephone numbers etc – which we found really useful throughout our stay!
The walk into the centre of Morzine isn’t much at all, a mere 10 minutes to the Tourist Office (bottom of Pleney lift) – or if you are carrying ski equipment, there is a bus stop situated at the end of the road where you can jump on the P & U bus routes that are regular throughout the day! As we wanted to spend some time skiing in Avoriaz, we got the bus to the Super Morzine lift which only took a few minutes!
As we were self-catering, we often walked down to the supermarket to get the necessities, which is only a few minutes walk from the apartment. In hindsight, we wish we had utilised the high-spec kitchen – for those that enjoy cooking in full self-catered style, Bobsled is definitely the place to stay! The kitchen / living space is fully equipped with everything you could need and is really spacious with a comfortable, separate dining area for those that like to host nights of their own!
*p.s. the Nespresso machine was probably one of our favourite added extras! – and it didn’t cost too much to stock up on pods from the supermarket 🙂
Our party consisted of two couples and with our friends only visiting Morzine once previously we wanted to make this trip one to remember!
We may have had to flip a coin for which couple got the bigger bedroom and although myself and my partner settled for the smaller of the two we were still not disappointed!
Mountain Xtra asked how we would like the beds to be prepared in the smaller bedroom (twin zipper beds that can be arranged into a double – super comfortable!) – both double bedrooms were prepared to a high standard when we arrived! It’s worth noting that both bedrooms also come equipped with Smart TV’s!
Back to the living area – the high-tech fireplace was a bonus that we LOVED when coming home after being out in the cold! – We did have to contact Mountain Xtra to figure out how to top it up, but they’re no more than a text/phone call away and are really happy to help! But even if you’re happy without the fire, the apartment is filled with blankets and throws to keep you toasty!
The apartment-long balcony with beanbags and fairy lights was a lovely space to relax, especially early in the morning when you can enjoy a Nespresso coffee overlooking the village of Morzine, – (and if you’re one for taking photos like me, its quite the photo opportunity!)
To get to the actual skiing part – 3 out 4 of us own our own ski equipment, but renting skis for my friend was easy, there are plenty of ski rental shops close to Bobsled, but Mountain Xtra do offer a ski rental service (also in the handbook).
In terms of storing our ski equipment, there is a basement/cave with individual ski rooms that can be accessed from inside and outside of the building – At first, we struggled to identify the ski room allocated to Bobsled, but after a quick text message to Mountain Xtra we were able to get our skis locked away for the night!
If I could be super picky and find a tiny downside to Bobsled, it would be the amount of room you have to store clothing. As a girl I obviously packed enough to last me a year, so I quickly took up all the hanging space in the smaller of the two bedrooms but as my partner had packed for a 3 week long skiing trip, he found it easier to live out of his suitcase – this didn’t affect the quality of our stay in Bobsled though! (and as a reminder to myself – pack less!)
As a self-catering apartment it really is perfect, there is an iron, washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as a maiden which we found really useful when coming home after a day on the slopes, as we were able to dry out our ski gear ready for the next day!
I really cannot fault our week-long stay in Bobsled, from the process of booking and securing the property to arriving, staying and leaving – it was brilliant! And even when we left Morzine for a 4 night stay in Zermatt, we couldn’t stop talking about how great it was and how we can’t wait to book for Winter 2019.
*My Boyfriend is now back in Morzine and staying in the budget accommodation I spoke of earlier in the Nyon area – and it’s safe to say he’s gutted that he’s not still in Bobsled*
If you’re after Morzine on a self-catered budget, (especially in late January as we did) book a stay in Bobsled!
I can’t wait to get our next stay booked, we will definitely be back!
Thanks Mountain Xtra!
We have just returned from a fantastic ski week. A group of 8 stayed in the Apartment Amandine and it was absolutely fantastic. The apartment had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. It is so well kitted out and very tastefully decorated that none of the group after a day’s skiing wanted to venture out. We were very happy cooking in and watching some of the DVD collection and sitting round the lovely table chatting about the eventful days skiing. It was also very conveniently located to the Nyon lift and the bus stop into the village.
Everything exceeded our expectations
Just a quick message to say a massive Thank you to you and your team for making the booking process for our first family snowboarding holiday a breeze, you went above and beyond answering all my questions and helping us find the right accommodation and in our tight budget and we cannot thank you enough.. everything exceeded our expectations and we cannot wait to come back next year,, thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you did for us
The location and space of the apartment are what make this chalet special. Close enough to be in the heart of Morzine centre but quietly tucked away, the location is perfect. Very close to Pleney cable car, our young children could walk easily to everywhere. The chalet itself felt very safe and secure and the space is fantastic! A great additional touch was the Christmas tree that was set up for our arrival that helped to make the apartment feel more festive! It was handy having a washing machine and dryer and WiFi all worked without problems. Mountain Xtra are a fantastic company and were very attentive to all our needs. We would definitely use them again and would recommend the chalet to anyone but especially families that want a spacious and well equipped home from home.

Apartment Le Mouflon
Great apartment, excellent location, would definitely come back here. We stayed here with our 5 month old and the apartment and location had everything we needed for a weeks stay!

Beautiful well equipped apartment: Nice apartment on 3rd floor. Thoughtfully decorated, well equipped with wood burning fireplace, good zize kitchen & bathroom. Private garage, very useful in case of snowfall.
“Beautiful apartment with an amazing view”
A beautiful apartment with an amazing view well located in Les Gets. A few minutes walk from a chairlift, or 5 minutes on the bus to the centre of Les Gets. Underground parking and ski lockers available. We would definitely return to both the apartment and Les Gets.

Apartment Le Pleney
Thank you for letting us use your apartment. It is well supplied and comfortable. We had a great time here. We can imagine coming back to Morzine for future holidays and staying here again.
Lovely apartment in Morzine, close to the town centre and good access to the slopes and local free ski buses. The apartment is modern, with great amenities, was clean in a new and well maintained apartment block.

Chalet Cascades is a great property. Really clean, the ski/boot is fantastic for keeping everything organised. The upstairs in particular is wonderfully comfortable and luxurious and overall it was very well equipped. Generally we thought it was really fantastic.
Apartment Boston Glen
We loved our summer stay at Boston Glen! From the moment we walked in and to the moment we, sadly had to go. The perfect home from home.
The apartment has everything we needed and more. The little extras were appreciated and enhanced the experience, making us feel very welcome. The apartment is spacious and has a bright airy feel to it. The rooms were of decent size, with lots of storage space in each of the bedrooms. We loved the open plan living space and with it’s dinning table, perfect for cooking while planning our next day’s outing.
The location is perfect, a 10 minute walk from the town, so it was close enough to be near the action and far enough away to have our peace when we wanted it. The patio area is great with fantastic views. Actually, even the view from the bathroom was amazing. Getting ready to go out while watching the deer and fawn eating in the field outside! Literally over the fence! An amazing experience.
Morzine itself is beautiful and has the right balance of gorgeous, picture perfect mountain town/modern, convenient, have a good time town! We spent our time hiking in the mountains and walking around beautiful lakes. Not being overly familiar with the area, we found it very easy to drive from Geneva to Morzine and around Morzine. Even found ourselves making our way to a goat village (not for the faint hearted, those goats are hungry!) which was an experience that I thoroughly recommend.
Oh, how could I forget the decor! loved the Scottish/American theme. I laughed as I was able to put two and two together with the name, it only took me until the second day and it being pointed out to me!
During this stay it was only two of us holidaying this time, but we loved it so much we are already organising a trip back during the ski season with friends!
Chalet Cristal is a little gem minutes walk away from both the Plenny and Super Morzine lift. Quiet, yet central, we enjoyed a super week skiing everyday in sunshine. Off road Parking outside is great and everything is set up to make your week easy . We were welcomed with a nice bottle of wine and a get you started welcome pack. Walking into town is a cinch. We will certainly consider Chalet Cristal again when we ski Morzine. Great value. Great fun.

Just overall a wonderful apartment to stay at, very good beds, all amenities are anyone could wish for are available, even spices, toiletries, coffee and tea are provided. Highly recommend!!

Just a quick note to say thanks for all the arrangements being perfect on our trip to Les Gets. The welcome pack was excellent and saved us worrying about food when we got there. We also used the door step ski hire delivery service and airport transfer links from your web site and both worked out perfectly. Thanks for a hassle free holiday!
Thank you so much for an absolutely epic week! Chalet skyline was way beyond expectations – beautifully decorated, incredibly luxurious and fabulous build quality that is most unusual in a mountain chalet! Stunning panoramic views of the mountains. It’s lovely to stay somewhere that the kids are able to play outside in the snow, sledging, snowballing, snowman building…etc!!! Truly relaxing week and you guys made us feel very at home – in fact your lucky we left!

We had a great week here and although the chalet is away from the centre of resort the purple bus route has a stop just outside the chalet down the road to the right and stops at 10 and 40 minutes past the hour for transport to the main lifts. There is a well stocked carrefour supermarket in the middle of town for getting most things. The chalet is very comfortable and has everything you’d need. The ski/boot room is great and has boot warmers to dry out your boots at the end of the day. The kitchen is well appointed and the lounge is very comfy. The bedrooms and bathrooms have been fitted to a high standard and we couldn’t fault them for cleanliness and comfort. Overall a very pleasant stay and will definitely be back if we stay in Morzine again.
A really beautiful apartment situated a short distance from the centre. Stayed here for a week as part of a group of 4. Sleeps 6 but two of our group had to cancel. Great storage for skis or snowboards at the front door. A short walk from the supermarket and bus stop. A lovely apartment with really great facilities. Very clean on arrival. Always nice and warm. We did not hire a car and didn’t need one at any point, everything is within walking distance or a short bus ride. Would recommend!
Fantastic chalet which catered for all our needs. Renovated to a great standard with ample space and everything you need for a home away from home. Located in a great spot with good bus links or walking distance to town

Apartment Luge is a fantastic apartment – very spacious and fully equipped for everything we needed. It’s in a superb location – only 5 mins walk from the Pleney lift and you can see the main Pleney slope from the apartment window. Dominic and Lorna were great to deal with. Would thoroughly recommend.
Rebecca February 2019Guest
Such a stunning chalet so well decorated and designed. Lorna and Dom have really put their stamp on it and are wonderful hosts. Both adults and kids were happy the whole time and the hot tub was a hit! Thanks so much to them both.
A great size for a family
We stayed 8 nights in late December and we were blessed with heaps of snow. The chalet is a great size for a family and is within easy walking distance of both gondolas and the shopping area. One of my teenagers stayed in the mezzanine without any problems.
Chalet Cascades was an ideal chalet for our group, it had all the amenities you could think of and was very well decorated throughout. The location was perfect to jump on a bus to Avoriaz, and just a short walk down to the main heart of Morzine. They had loads of games around the chalet and fully stocked up on all the utensils, making it easy to cook a range of dinners. Cannot recommend enough! Thank you Mountain Xtra!
