Lift Opening Dates and Prices – Portes du Soleil winter season 2013/14
We are now in December which can only mean one thing: the winter season is finally here! The Portes du Soleil ski area will be fully open from the 21st December 2013 until the 27th April 2014, but for those early birds who want to get up there as soon as possible, parts of the mountain will be partially open between the 13th and the 20th of December!!
The Pre-la-Joux area in Chatel opened on 30th November for the weekends up until the full area opening. Avoriaz, Morzine and Les Gets will be following shortly with partial openings from the 14th December until the following week when everything will be open (snow permitting).
Due to the record-breaking snowfall Avoriaz received last winter, the 2013-2014 ski season has been extended by a week and Avoriaz will stay open until the 27 April 2014 provided there is still a good covering of snow! So although Easter falls late next year, snow permitting, you will still be able to ski Easter week!
