There is a private garage in the communal parking, take the ramp to the right of Building A and use the garage door remote control to open the main door then turn left to find the garage marked B601, the key on the remote control set will open this door.

On check in day we advise to park in a visitor space out front then find the apartment and collect the parking door remote which is kept on the dining table in the apartment. Then you can return to the car to park in the private garage.

To find the parking from the apartment, go back to Building A and take the lift to the 1st floor, there is a door marked “Garages, Caves, Velos” to access the communal garage.

Please leave the remote on the dining room table when you check out – lost key or remote charge is €200.

During the ski season all skis/boards and boots must be kept in the private ski locker and not taken through the buildings nor the elevators.

At the main entrance of ‘Building A’ there is a a door marked “Casiers à Skis”, use the apartment key to open this door and find ski locker number B601 and the apartment key will also unlock the ski locker.

Bikes can be stored in the private garage or in the communal bike store in the room marked “Local à Velo” which is found in the garage area, you are responsible to securing your bikes in this space and it is forbidden to take them further into the building.

On leaving the building turn left at the main road heading away from Morzine Centre, go 50 metres down the road and the bins are located on the right – There are three types of bin:

general waste
glass
cartons, plastic, paper + cans.

On departure: un-opened food / drink may be left for the cleaners. Oils, salt & pepper may be left for the next guests.

Please note: everything else must be disposed of. Any other rubbish / recycling left in the property on departure may result in additional charges / partial loss of security deposit.

There are 3 sources of TV available:

1. UK through the Manhattan Freesat box
2. French terrestrial through the TV
3. French series and Smart functions through the Orange TV box

When tuning the TV on it may say No Signal or it may go to the home screen depending on what was last viewed, at any point press the “Source”  button on the remote and scroll and select the round icon as follows –  “TV” for French terrestrial, HDMI 1 for the Orange box or HDMI 2 for the UK freesat box.

Pressing the home button “House icon” on the remote control will always take to the main screen at any time, you can also sign in to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Youtube etc using your own details but don’t forget to sign out at the end of your stay!

Each room has its own individual wall radiator with a simple dial control to select the temperature level.

There is also a central wall control unit which has been set for optimal comfort and the setting should not be changed.

Full length towel radiators are in each bathroom, they have a simple control dial to adjust the temperature up and down.

Do not put clothes, gloves or anything other than towels on the units as they can damage the finish.

This is fed from a central boiler in the building that feeds all the apartments. If all showers are being used at the same time or long showers are taken and hot water is used up then you may have to wait 30 minutes for the tanks to reheat.

To turn the mains power back on, find the electricity cupboard which is the door next to the bathroom. Push the large grey switch up to the I position and not the 0 position. This is on the box next to the green box.

Then check that every RCD is up, they are the individual fuses on the left of every row of other fuses. Then check all other fuses are up.

Power cuts are common in French mountain properties and the power input into every property is limited.

Sometimes the power may blow if you are using too many electrical items at the same time such as; kettle, oven, hob, hot tub, towel rails, washing machines, tumble dryer etc. If this happens in particular when cooking, try switching off some of these units until you have finished cooking.

If you have pressed the main trip switch back on but still have no power then, find out if your neighbours have power or not before contacting the in resort WhatsApp / SMS number.

Pull the front of the machine towards you to open up the space where the paper filter sits, put a fresh filter in and spoon the ground coffee into the filter. At the back of the unit fill the water reservoir with fresh water and ensure the glass jug is sitting below the filter compartment.

Press the power button on – bottom right. The water will percolate through the filter and the hot plate under the job will keep the coffee warm until the machine is turned off.

The hob is an induction and therefore needs the pan to be on the heating zone before pressing the controls.
Using the touch button controls on the hob surface:
Press the power on button on the bottom left. Select the desired heating zone by pressing on the small circle indicating that zone.
Press on the plus or minus icons to select the heat level, select the heating zone again to confirm that choice.
You can change the temperature between heating zones by selecting the zone, using the plus and minus and selecting again to confirm.

Turn off when not in use, remember the heating zones will still be hot for a while.

The dial on the left selects the oven function, the dial on the right selects the temperature.

Please ensure the oven and trays etc are clean before you leave.

There is a large full size fridge and freezer in the apartment. The total capacity is 270 litres with the freezer section being 70 litres.

The raclette/pierrade machine is normally stored in a cupboard in the utility room. Please ensure it is always fully cleaned and all the pieces are kept together.

The fondue set is normally also stored in the bottom cupboard in the utility room. Please also ensure it is left clean and all pieces are kept together.

There is a washing machine in the utility room next to the kitchen. It is advised not to use it if also using the tumble dryer, oven, hob, kettle as in some properties having too many electrical items on at the same time can cause the power to trip.

Select the desired programme then press “Depart/Pause” to start the cycle.

There is a communal Sauna “Espace Detente” which is available to all residents during the winter season. It is located on the ground floor of the building behind the door for “Batiment D”

It is open 4pm to 8pm.

Please follow all the rules and respect the neighbours and other users, they will close the facility to all guests if there is any abuse of the rules.

It is your responsibility to make sure the sliding glass doors onto the terrace and all the windows are closed and locked when you are not in the property and at the end of your stay.

No smoking on balconies / terrace.

Remove any litter from all exterior areas on departure.

There are electric shutters for the sliding doors in the living area and bedroom windows, the switch is on the wall next to the light switches. Press the middle button to activate then the up or down arrow as needed. Pressing the middle button will pause the shutters at any height whilst they are rolling.
