On top of the covered parking next to the building is further parking and there are 2 private spaces allocated to Apartment Solitaire, they are both clearly signed. This parking is accessed via a small driveway 20 metres further up the road and staying left of the garage.

In the building entrance hallway on the ground floor is a room with multiple ski lockers in it. From the entrance door head straight through the wooden door then turn left, the two lockers for Apartment Solitaire on the ones on the furthest right. There are 2 small keys on the main set that will unlock them.

To respect the rules of the building management you must put your skis and boards in here and not bring them further into the building. All codes are given on arrival day.

From the main La Ferme de Morz’na building go out to the main road, turn left towards the hotel Le Soly and go past the hotel, you’ll see a roundabout with a bus stop and the communal bins are easily found just behind the bus stop.

There are three types of bin

1. general waste
2. glass
3. cartons, plastic, paper + cans.

On departure: un-opened food / drink may be left for the cleaners. Oils, salt & pepper may be left for the next guests. 

Please note: everything else must be disposed of. Any other rubbish / recycling left in the property on departure may result in additional charges / partial loss of security deposit. 

The TV is not a smart TV and therefore to access Netflix and Prime you need to use the Orange Digital box.

To access the Orange box choose the HDMI1 input option if the Orange services aren’t automatically displayed, you can press the input button on the TV remote to find the HDMI options. The orange remote control is the longer one.

The home screen will show some programmes or you can select Store & Apps at the top of the screen to access more options.

You can sign in to Netflix and Amazon Prime etc. But don’t forget to sign out at the end of your stay!

Each room has an individual temperature dial on the wall.

Moving the small bar left to right changes the settings.

Left = Off

Middle = Night Time Only

Right = On constantly

Turn the dial to select the desired temperature.

Full length towel radiators are in each bathroom, they have a simple control unit to adjust the temperature up and down or boost for an hour if needed. No other settings need to be used. If the control panel is not lighting up the radiator could have been switched off at it’s main switch which is at the rear of the unit and at the bottom of it.

Do not put clothes, gloves or anything other than towels on the units as they can damage the finish.

Hot water is provided from an independent boiler that feeds this apartment only. There is a large tank which should be plenty for all, however if long showers are taken and the hot water is used up then you may have to wait for the tank to reheat.

To turn the mains power back on, find the electricity cupboard in the downstairs hall. Push large grey switch up to the I position and not the 0 position, this is on the box next to the green box at the bottom.

Then check that every RCD is up, they are the individual fuses on the left of every row of other fuses. Then check all other fuses are up.

Power cuts are common in French mountain properties and the power input into every property is limited.

Sometimes the power may blow if you are using too many electrical items at the same time such as; kettle, oven, hob, hot tub, towel rails, washing machines, tumble dryer etc. If this happens in particular when cooking, try switching off some of these units until you have finished cooking.

If you have pressed the main trip switch back on but still have no power then, find out if your neighbours have power or not before contacting the in resort WhatsApp / SMS number.

Fill the water tank at the rear of the machine, press the cup button to turn the machine on. Lift the lever on the top and drop in a coffee pod with the foil facing towards you, place a cup under the spout and wait for the flashing lights to stop. Once the machine is ready press the small cup icon for an espresso sized cup or the larger cup icon for a longer coffee.

The hob is an induction and therefore needs the pan to be on the heating zone before pressing the controls.
Using the touch button controls on the hob surface:
Press the power on button. Select the desired heating zone by pressing on the small cross indicating that zone.
Press on the bar icon to select the heat level 0-9, select the heating zone again to confirm that choice.
You can change the temperature between heating zones by selecting the zone, using the bar and selecting again to confirm.
You can boost to bring to a boil fast by selecting the zone and then the ‘boost’ icon.

Turn off when not in use, remember the heating zones will still be hot for a while.

The dial on the left selects the oven function, the dial on the right selects the temperature.

Please ensure the oven and trays etc are clean before you leave.

There is a large full size fridge with a freezer compartment in the kitchen. The total capacity is 260 litres with the freezer section being 22 litres.

The raclette machine is normally stored in on the shelf in the utility room. Please ensure it is always fully cleaned and all the pieces are kept together.

There is a washing machine in the utility room next to the kitchen. It is advised not to use it if also using the tumble dryer, oven, hob, kettle as in some properties having too many electrical items on at the same time can cause the power to trip.

Select the desired programme then press “Depart/Pause” to start the cycle.

There is a tumble dryer in the utility room next to the kitchen. It is advised not to use it if also using the washing machine, oven, hob, kettle as in some properties having too many electrical items on at the same time can cause the power to trip.

You will need to remove the lint from the filter and empty the water reservoir after each use.

Select the desired programme then press “Depart/Pause” to start the cycle.

It is your responsibility to make sure the sliding glass door onto the terrace and all the windows are closed and locked when you are not in the property and at the end of your stay. Please also ensure all velux windows are closed when not needed in case it rains, there is a pole for opening and closing the velux in the master bedroom.

No smoking on balconies / terrace.

Remove any litter from all exterior areas on departure.

The aren’t any cots or highchairs stored in the property therefore it is essential to reserve any in advance.

Free ski buses – Winter
