On arrival, walk through the parking barrier and go down the right hand side of the building towards the letterboxes. On the right side of the letterboxes are two key boxes:-

TOP KEYBOX: holds the remote control for the parking barrier that you’ve just passed and it also holds the rear parking access card. This card will lower a bollard on the street at the back of the building and then you can access the underground parking.

BOTTOM KEYBOX: holds the apartment key set.

Use the blue parking remote to lift the barrier and find any space in the uncovered parking directly in front of the building, spaces aren’t allocated.

You must put the access card and the blue barrier remote in the key box when you check out – lost key charge is €200

There is an allocated space in the underground car park below the building. Height restriction of 2m.

Take the access card that is found in the top key box and the apartment keys.

Drive to the top of Taille de Mas du Pleney and turn into the road, scan the card on the reader at the top of this road to lower the bollard. Go down this road and at the end there is a ramp on the right hand side that leads down to the underground parking, the key to open the main garage door is on the apartment set of keys. Once inside there is an allocated private parking space with a mountain xtra sign on the wall.

The stairs inside near the building entrance will take you to the underground.

The grey light switches in the underground will turn the lights on (not the orange ones), these lights turn off automatically after a few minutes so we recommend to have your phone torch nearby if you are spending time in there.

Skis, boots – Please store ski equipment in the allocated cave for the apartment.

Bikes – up to 3 bikes can be stored in the cave. For additional bike storage there are anchor points provided in the allocated car parking space in the undergound garage for you to lock bikes to.

The cave is in the underground parking, there is a short corridor with cave doors and it’s the very last door facing you. On entering the underground from the apartment the nearest orange light switch on the right does not work, there is a grey switch just around the corner which will turn on all of the underground lights, these lights turn off automatically after a few minutes so we recommend to have your phone torch nearby if you are spending time in the cave.

There are three types of bin:

general waste
glass
cartons, plastic, paper + cans.

On departure: un-opened food / drink may be left for the cleaners. Oils, salt & pepper may be left for the next guests.

Please note: everything else must be disposed of. Any other rubbish / recycling left in the property on departure may result in additional charges / partial loss of security deposit.

On the Samsung remote control pressing the home button (“house” icon) will always take you back to the main menu on the TV where you can find all of the apps and menus.

Choose “Source” to scroll through the different inputs needed to access TV, Xbox or Wii.

Live TV – will access French channels

HDMI 1 – will access the Xbox

AV – will access the Wii

Use the circle on the remote to navigate through the icons, press the button in the centre of the wheel to select the app you wish to load.

To access UK satellite channels do the following:

When watching TV if you wish to see a channel menu list “EPG” press the Guide button on the remote control.

You can sign in to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Youtube etc; But don’t forget to sign out at the end of your stay!

The heating is provided centrally within the building, there are individual radiators in each room with a temperature control.

Full length towel radiators are in each bathroom, they have a simple control unit to adjust the temperature up and down using the plus and minus buttons or boost for an hour if needed.

Do not put clothes, gloves or anything other than towels on the units as they can damage the finish.

Hot water is provided from a central boiler in the building.

If all showers are being used at the same time or long showers are taken and hot water is used up then you may have to wait 30 minutes for the tanks to reheat.

To turn the mains power back on, find the electricity cupboard in the central column in the living area. Press the black button (that is next to the red button) fully in, this is on the box above all of the fuses.

Then check that every RCD is up, they are the individual fuses on the left of every row of other fuses. Then check all other fuses are up.

Power cuts are common in French mountain properties and the power input into every property is limited.

Sometimes the power may blow if you are using too many electrical items at the same time such as; kettle, oven, hob, hot tub, towel rails, washing machines, tumble dryer etc. If this happens in particular when cooking, try switching off some of these units until you have finished cooking.

If you have pressed the main trip switch back on but still have no power then, find out if your neighbours have power or not before contacting the in resort WhatsApp / SMS number.

Fill the water tank at the rear of the machine, press the cup button to turn the machine on. Lift the lever on the top and drop in a coffee pod with the foil facing towards you, place a cup under the spout and wait for the flashing lights to stop. Once the machine is ready press the small cup icon for an espresso sized cup or the larger cup icon for a longer coffee.

The hob is an induction and therefore needs the pan to be on the heating zone before pressing the controls.
Using the touch button controls on the hob surface:
Press the power on button, the circle with the vertical line through it.

Press the plus button on the corresponding area to heat up the zone and minus to reduce the temperature. There is a timer function in the middle of the controls with the clock symbol.

Turn off when not in use, remember the heating zones will still be hot for a while.

The dial on the left selects the oven function, the dial on the right selects the temperature.

Please ensure the oven and trays etc are clean before you leave.

There is a large full size fridge and freezer in the apartment. The total capacity is 201 litres with the freezer section being 65 litres.

The raclette machine is normally stored in on the shelf in the utility cupboard next to the kitchen. Please ensure it is always fully cleaned and all the pieces are kept together.

There is a washing machine in the utility room next to the kitchen. It is advised not to use it if also using the tumble dryer, oven, hob, kettle as in some properties having too many electrical items on at the same time can cause the power to trip.

Select the desired programme then press “Depart/Pause” to start the cycle.

In the summer there is a parasol on the rear terrace which stays on the terrace throughout the summer but please ensure it is always closed up when not in use to avoid weather damage or danger in high wind.

It is your responsibility to make sure the sliding glass doors onto the terraces and all the windows are closed and locked when you are not in the property and at the end of your stay.

No smoking on balconies / terrace.

Remove any litter from all exterior areas on departure.

There are electric shutters in the bedrooms facing the town square, we recommend to close these fully at night to limit any noise that may occur outside.

The switches are on the bedroom walls, behind the curtains.

There is one cot and one highchair available, they are usually stored in the utility room next to the kitchen. If more are required it is essential to reserve in advance.
