There are 2 private parking spaces in the garage, access the parking by entering the code on the keypad to the left of the main garage door, continue to the end of the parking and on the left is marked spaces for the apartment.

The keys have a remote fob on them so the main garage door can be opened using the fob.

Finding the apartment from the parking: Go through the blue door opposite the parking space to find the elevator and press floor number 2, the apartment door is signed and right outside of the elevator.

The apartment has a private locked cave for storing skis/boards and bikes, take the apartment keys as the cave key is on the set. The cave is located on floor 1 and is behind a door that is next to the elevator. Once through this door walk to the very end of the corridor and the cave is clearly marked.

At the roundabout with the Sherpa store, take the 3rd exit and go 50 metres up the street, there are 3 communal bins on the right hand side by the camping car parking.

There are three types of bin:

general waste
glass
cartons, plastic, paper + cans.

On departure: un-opened food / drink may be left for the cleaners. Oils, salt & pepper may be left for the next guests.

Please note: everything else must be disposed of. Any other rubbish / recycling left in the property on departure may result in additional charges / partial loss of security deposit.

You can sign in to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney +, Apple TV, Youtube, but don’t forget to sign out at the end of your stay! BBC iplayer, ITV X, NowTV, Channel4 are not available outside of the UK

For Apple TV – Press the centre of the circle on the remote to turn the apple box on and on the remote press ‘input’ and select HDMI 1.

For French Channels – Press the ‘input’ button (square with an arrow) on the remote control and select ‘Antenna’, to get a channel menu list press the ‘guide’ button.

For Apps and Smart TV – Pressing the blue button ‘SMART’ in the middle of the remote at any time will take you to the homepage with the apps menu displayed.

Each room has it’s own independent radiator with a standard temperature dial. In winter the comfort setting is around 3/4.

There is also a central remote for regulating the radiators, for the winter and summer this will set to the optimum levels and timings and therefore only the individual radiator controls should be changed if required.

All of the bathrooms have full length towel radiators with a simple temperature control that turns clockwise to reduce the temperature and anti-clockwise to increase it.

Do not put clothes, gloves or anything other than towels on the units as they can damage the finish.

Hot water is provided from a central boiler in the building.

If all showers are being used at the same time or long showers are taken and hot water is used up then you may have to wait 30 minutes for the tanks to reheat.

To turn the mains power back on, find the electricity cupboard in the downstairs hall. Press the black button (that is next to the red button).

Then check that every RCD is up, they are the individual fuses on the left of every row of other fuses. Then check all other fuses are up.

Power cuts are common in French mountain properties and the power input into every property is limited.

Sometimes the power may blow if you are using too many electrical items at the same time such as; kettle, oven, hob, hot tub, towel rails, washing machines, tumble dryer etc. If this happens in particular when cooking, try switching off some of these units until you have finished cooking.

If you have pressed the main trip switch back on but still have no power then, find out if your neighbours have power or not before contacting the in resort WhatsApp / SMS number.

Fill the water tank at the rear of the machine, press the cup button to turn the machine on. Lift the lever on the top and drop in a coffee pod with the foil facing towards you, place a cup under the spout and wait for the flashing lights to stop. Once the machine is ready press the small cup icon for an espresso sized cup or the larger cup icon for a longer coffee.

The hob is an induction and therefore needs the pan to be on the heating zone before pressing the controls.

Turn off when not in use, remember the heating zones will still be hot for a while.

The dial on the right selects the oven function, the dial on the left selects the temperature.

Please ensure the oven and trays etc are clean before you leave.

There is a large full size fridge and freezer in the apartment. The total capacity is 210 litres with the freezer section being 17 litres.

There is a washing machine with integrated dryer in the kitchen.

It is advised not to use it if also using the tumble dryer, oven, hob, kettle as in some properties having too many electrical items on at the same time can cause the power to trip.

Select the desired programme then press “Depart” to start the cycle.

Translation:

• Coton – cotton wash, temperatures as shown on the dial
• Quotidien – everyday washing at 30 degrees
• Laine – Wool
• Vindage & Essorage – Drain and spin only
• Auto-Nettoyage tambour – self clean of the drum
• Séchage intensif – tumble drying longer and hotter cycle
• Séchage –  tumble drying at a normal level
• Outdoor – Drying at a low temperature
• Synthétiques & Délicat – Synthetics and delicate wash

Available only during the Summer season there is a gas BBQ on the balcony, please ensure it is left clean with the utensils and cleaning brushes cleaned and stored away as found.

Note: To turn on the gas there may also be a small button on the underneath of the gas valve that you need to press in for a few seconds to get the gas flowing. Please turn off the gas at the valve after every use.

The sliding doors on to the balcony are very awkward to use and can easily come off the fittings if forced or pushed, therefore please be very careful and follow the instructions carefully that are on the window. If in doubt use the bedroom doors to access the balcony.

It is your responsibility to make sure the sliding glass door onto the terrace and all the windows are closed and locked when you are not in the property and at the end of your stay. Also ensure all velux windows are closed when not in the property.

No smoking on balconies / terrace.

Remove any litter from all exterior areas on departure.

The Velux windows have electric blinds that are controlled by the remotes next to the beds.
