Flexible Booking Terms (winter 20 / 21)

These Flexible (Covid-19) terms and conditions (“the Flexible Terms”) are to be read in conjunction with our standard terms and conditions found here (“the Standard Terms”). In the event of any inconsistency, conflict or ambiguity as to the rights and obligations of the parties under the Flexible Terms and the Standard Terms, the terms of these Flexible Terms shall control and supersede any such inconsistency, conflict or ambiguity.

Flexible (Covid-19) booking terms – for new bookings with holiday dates between 12/12/20 to 18/04/21.

Flexible bookings

If you wish to swap your pre-booked winter 20/ 21 holiday dates for any reason you can do so up to 6 weeks in advance of your arrival date free of charge. We will carry the booking fee over to the new selected dates providing they are within a 24 month period and are for the same number days (if the new holidays dates are priced higher the increased price is applicable).

Special (Covid-19) Circumstances

If your booking is under 6 weeks prior to arrival and you need to swap your winter 20 / 21 holiday dates for one of the following reasons (numbered 1 to 4 below) prior to your arrival in the resort this can be done free of charge. We will carry full payment including the booking fee over to the new selected dates providing they are within a 24 month period and for the same number days (if the new holidays dates are priced higher the increased price is applicable, if the new holiday dates are a lower price partial refund is not available).

  1. Border closure of France.
  2. Resort closure by the French authorities.
  3. FCO advice not to travel to France.
  4. Quarantine rules imposed on travel from France.

Cancellation refunds

If you cancel your holiday prior to 6 weeks in advance of your arrival date (and you do not wish to swap your dates) then 75% of the total holiday price is refundable if it has been paid, or if not yet paid then the final 75% payment of the holiday price is no longer due.

If you cancel your holiday between 6 weeks to 24 hours in advance of your holiday (and you do not wish to swap your dates) and any of the Special Covid-19 circumstances (numbered 1 to 4 above) are in place then a 75% refund is available.

If you cancel your holiday between 6 weeks to 24 hours in advance of your holiday (and you do not wish to swap your dates) but none of the Special Covid-19 circumstances (numbered 1 to 4 above) are in place then no refund is available.

Illness

If you or any of your group become ill with any Covid-19 symptoms prior to your arrival it is your responsibility not to travel.

If you or any member of your group become ill during your holiday and you are required to self isolate and request to extend your booking you will be obliged to pay for the extended booking required at the full market rate on a per week basis or, if availability is not possible, you are required to find your own alternative accommodation.

Early Departure

Once you have checked into your holiday property if you or any member of your group has to leave early including personal reasons, illness, resort closure, government guidelines or any other reason not listed here, unused nights are non-refundable.

Booking Fee

The 25% booking fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.

This fee goes towards fixed overheads and non recoverable administrative running costs including but not exclusively, advertising, staffing costs, card processing fees and any subsequent administrative expenses involved with the processing of cancellations or swapping of holiday dates.

It is a term of your booking that you have adequate travel insurance which, amongst other things, provides cover in relation to the non-refundable elements outlined above.

 

Governing  jurisdiction

This agreement terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.

All parties irrevocably agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales over any claim or matter arising under or in connection with this agreement or the legal relationships established by this agreement.
